Ggékyamnanêk Wdathmownëwan (Our Elders’ Stories Project) seeks to document the stories of our fluent elders in a series of published books. We have begun a partnership with fluent speakers Jim Thunder. Mr. Thunder is currently working with Bodwéwadmimwen Ėthë ték to produce a book titled “Memories”. This book will include seven stories recalling life events, narrated from his first-hand perspective. The stories will be published in Bodwéwadmimwen with accompanying English translations.

Solid write-up; you covered the important angles without ever getting lost in the weeds. It's easy to overlook the basics, and you did a good job reminding readers why they matter. I keep a running list of related material at ambientfinance.net if that happens to be helpful.
